At ETCH Outdoor Living, we were thrilled to take on an exciting project in Ankeny, IA, for a client who wanted to transform their backyard into the ultimate outdoor oasis. The project included installing a pool and hot tub, a patio and fire pit, a putting green, and sod. To ensure that we delivered exactly what our client envisioned, we began with a thorough consultation to understand their goals and preferences.
We met with our client for a consultation to listen to their goals and help them during the design phase.
The first step of this project was to meet with our client for a comprehensive consultation. During this meeting, we listened attentively to their vision for their new outdoor living space. They expressed a desire for a luxurious retreat where they could relax, entertain guests, and enjoy various recreational activities.
Our team took detailed notes and asked questions to gain a deep understanding of their goals. We discussed the layout, materials, and features they had in mind. Armed with this information, we worked closely with them during the design phase, providing expert guidance and suggestions to ensure every detail aligned with their dream backyard.
The first step of this project was to install a pool and hot tub.
With the design finalized, it was time to bring the vision to life. The installation process kicked off with the construction of a stunning pool and hot tub. Our skilled team meticulously excavated the area, ensuring precise measurements and alignment. Then, we built the pool using top-quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques.
The result was a breathtaking centerpiece for the backyard, complete with crystal-clear water and inviting surroundings. The hot tub added a touch of luxury, offering a soothing escape after a long day.
The next step of this project was to install a patio and fire pit.
To complement the pool and hot tub, we moved on to the next phase: installing a stylish patio and cozy fire pit. We used durable and attractive materials that would last for years to come to create a beautiful, functional outdoor space. The patio seamlessly connected the pool area to other parts of the yard, creating a cohesive flow. Once the patio was completed, we added a fire pit to it! We installed a rectangular fire pit that made it stand out as a focal point and our clients loved the way it turned out!
We installed putting greens using artificial turf.
No backyard paradise is complete without some fun and games! That's why our client wanted to add putting greens to it! Using artificial turf, we installed seven putting greens on their property, all right next to each other. We even added sandtraps to make it look like a real golf course! These stunning additions really made the property stand out and our clients love practicing their putt game on them!
The final step of this project was to install sod.
To tie everything together and give the entire landscape a polished finish, we laid down lush, green sod throughout the yard. While laying the sod, we followed a thorough process that involved carefully placing the sod and using a roller to give it great contact with the soil and a seamless look. This not only enhanced the overall aesthetics of the property but also provided a soft, inviting surface for walking and playing.
